This patch applies to [EndPointSecurity 4.0], Build: [20080215], PatchDate [20080905]

This patch addresses the following:

- System crash or BSOD when connecting iPod
- BSODs on encrypted laptop - Aladin eToken
- issue when configuring machine for CDs/DVDs access restrictions - users with Read Only rights are able to write on CD/DVD
- Windows VISTA is crashing 
- storage devices mounted as NTFS folders are not controlled
- file type filters were not applied properly when working offline
- active sysnc application was not loaded when connected a whitelisted PDA
- SAFE MODE protection not working
- IRONKEY device not controlled
- multiple baloons displayed for whitelisted devices 
- BSOD when connecting KEIL ulink device
- BSOD when connecting UKEY31 - smart card reader
- "Access Denied" baloon displayed when connecting a white-listed device
- "Access denied" custom messages are displayed when connecting a white-listed device and "Access allowed to a controlled device" custom message option is disabled
- "esecagentservice.exe" crashes when connecting some USB devices
- agent crashes on Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
- EndPointSecurity agent service crashes on Windows Vista Ultimate SP1


Procedure to install the patch:

-copy EndpointSecurityAgnt.msi to EndPointSecurity main application installation in the Agent folder replacing the old EndpointSecurityAgnt.msi file
-uninstall all EndPointSecurity agents
-reinstall them
-restart the computers with EndPointSecurity agent installed
